2017 Seton Hall pledge Myles Cale has been one of the top scorers on the Under Armour Association circuit this spring.

Through the first three UAA sessions, Cale is third in scoring average with 20.3 ppg and 3.8 rpg, tallying 20+ points in 8 of his 12 games and sitting just .4 PPG behind top scorer James “MJ” Walker, a top-25 player in the 2017 class.

Now at No. 65 in ESPN’s latest Class of 2017 rankings, Myles has also decided to switch to the Patrick School (N.J.) from Appoquinimink (Del.) for his senior season, which is a no-brainer for development and giving the Seton Hall staff the ability to keep close tabs on him.

Cale, who is a well-built and versatile two-guard, has been invited to Steph Curry’s summer SC30 camp, which Isaiah Whitehead had participated in as a counselor last summer. All-in-all, this is looking like quite the steal for Kevin Willard and his staff.

Check out Myles in action with the South Jersey Jazz below.

Looks like a good kid that can help us … ? is, will he be playing w/TT???

    • Carl MacDonald

Ugh…im almost over Taurean..hes got ten days before Willard needs to trim his roster.

  • Fishjam

He’s going to be special, he’s a pure scorer and moves so smoothly. Big-time get for the staff. Credit goes to Fred Hill for seeing the ability/potential before he was sought after by the bigger programs and before he was ranked so highly. And great news that he’s transfered to St.Pat’s as it should keep those big programs from poaching him away before he signs his LOI. Also gives us an opportunity to watch him play before he gets on campus.

Fishjam- saw him play—you are gonna love this Kid- a better Caver in High School and Bryan was great. Believe he is going to get better.

      • Impressive frame for a rising senior guard. I’ll be sure to see him a few times this coming winter + looking to get a feature on him during the July AAU period. His AAU coach/manager is Tim Legler of ESPN

        • Fishjam

Legler was a tremendous 3-pt shooter in college and the NBA. If he can help Cale improve his 3-pt shooting, watch out. He’s only shooting around 25% from 3 this season yet still averages 20+. I read a few scouting reports that said he has good form and could become a higher % 3-pt shooter if he continues to work at it.

LBP, it’s been a minute since I’ve seen you post – good to see your name. Where did you MC play? I read he’s already played a few summer league games with St Pat’s.

        • LBP

Fishjam -saw him at Pier 36’s Basketball City play for South Jersey Jazz in the Under Armor Association . The kid oozes potential and he could not have made a better choice than to go to St.Pat’s- hopefully he will use his athleticism to learn D ( altho AAU is not a league where D rules).
Did you hear that MSU is dropping out of the TT drama?

          • Fishjam

I read that on the MSU board but seemed like a rumor. Also saw that SH is looking at another PG – grad transfer Gio McLean from NYC played last ur at Quinipiac.

          • Joe Schmoe

            He’ll be at SHU….

    • fouline

Great news considering IW departure. Let’s go to the video tape on Mr. Cale!

  • Carl MacDonald

Are there any date specific deadlines for TT?
