The Seton Hall coaching staff has offered a top-100 forward from Oak Hill Academy, Virginia.
Rodney Miller, a 6-foot-11, top-100 power forward, has been offered by Seton Hall, per a source.
Miller also has offers from Georgia Tech, UConn and Wake Forest with handfuls of elite programs sniffing around like Kansas, Virginia, and Duke. As of now, it sounds like the Demon Deacons are the school to beat.
Rated 79th overall by Rivals and 74th by 247Sports, Seton Hall must be using the Dominican Republic angle with Miller; the forward played for the Dominican U17 national team in 2013. If you didn’t know by now, Pirate forward Angel Delgado was born and raised in the Dominican.
Despite his DR heritage, Miller’s home is in Queens and he therefore runs with the New York Lightning AAU program, from which Delgado and Pirate guard Khadeen Carrington also played for. A further connection, Miller is teammates with Seton Hall commit Veer Singh on the NY Lightning.
Here are two clips of what Rodney Miller can do on the hardwood:
