Seton Hall has been seen as high as a 7-seed in some brackets following their stellar 90-81 win over No. 5 Xavier on Sunday at Prudential Center.

This time last year, Seton Hall was heading into the Big East Tournament losers in eight of their last nine games, carting around both a fractured locker room and a head coach in Kevin Willard who wasn’t confident he’d stick around to see another season.
NEWARK - Seton Hall used two first half runs, a career-high 27 points and 12 boards from Desi Rodriguez, and stifling defense to build a 19-point halftime lead that was never truly threatened en route to an unbelievable 90-81 win over No. 5 Xavier on Senior Day at Prudential Center that surely seals their first […]
Prudential Center will be packed to the tune of 9,800 Seton Hall fans and the two rows behind the home team’s bench will be equally crammed as the Hall’s coaching staff has collected an impressive bunch of recruits — including 2016 signee Myles Powell — to attend their final home game of the season.
If Seton Hall (20-7, 10-5) wants to leave the bubble behind them and match their highest regular season win total since the 1992-93 season in which they won the Big East Tournament, they can do just that with a massive win over fifth-ranked Xavier (25-3, 13-3) on Senior Day.

NEWARK - Seton Hall essentially replicated their performance in Rhode Island by rallying around a 15-0 run that sandwiched the halftime break and then fended off a Ben Bentil-induced Providence run to notch their first 20-win regular season since 2003-04 with a commanding 70-52 win at Prudential Center.
It looked like a shell-shocked Seton Hall team was going to get turned around by a 19-6 Providence second half run fueled by Ben Bentil, but 8 straight points from Desi Rodriguez including a drawn flagrant two on Bentil would seal the deal for a Pirate team that was better all night long.
