Seton Hall has extended an offer to 2017 Blair Academy (N.J.) guard Matt Turner after his unofficial visit on Saturday for the Hall’s Blue & White Scrimmage.

Turner, who transferred from Trumbull High School (Conn.) to Blair Academy for last season, also plays for the New York Lightning on the AAU circuit, the same program that current Pirates Khadeen Carrington, Angel Delgado and Veer Singh have also laced up for.

A 6-foot-3 combo guard, Seton Hall’s offer is Turner’s first from a high-major program; Fairfield and Quinnipiac were the first two schools to offer.

Turner saw some time at both guard spots for Blair last season, notably notching 15 points against St. Benedict’s in February.
