Christ the King point guard Jose Alvarado picks up offer from Seton Hall

2017 Christ the King point guard Jose Alvarado received his first high-major offer from Seton Hall on Tuesday.

Amid last night’s flurry of recruiting news, Jose Alvarado tweeted that he picked up an offer from the Hall.

Just a sophomore at Queens’ Christ the King this past season, Alvarado impressed enough to pick up offers from local schools Iona, Hofstra and Fordham. Playing alongside highly-touted guard Rawle Alkins, Alvarado notably poured in 25 points against Cardozo in the Nike/Under Armour Showcase in January when Alkins was sick.

Staff from Seton Hall was at that game, impressed enough that they hosted the point guard less than two weeks later when they played DePaul at Prudential Center.

Now three months down the road, Jose has landed an offer from Seton Hall.
