Seton Hall offers Jamari Wheeler

Less than a week since he received his release from Duquense, Seton Hall has offered point guard Jamari Wheeler.

A six-foot guard from Florida’s The Rock School, Wheeler has picked up offers from Penn State, Houston, Auburn, VCU, and Seton Hall since receiving his release from Duquense on March 30th.

Wheeler had mostly low-major interest prior to committing to since-fired Jim Ferry and isn’t ranked by most recruiting services.

With Patrick School’s Jordan Walker eyeing prep school, it seems like the staff is getting secondary options in order as another point guard would either back up Trevon Duval or team up with someone else at lead guard.

The lingo used with recruits and players can give false impressions. When I read “released” i thought that meant something different, not that he was a 2017 recruit and Dusquene released him from his LOI, which effectively re-opens his recruiting process…

We’ll find out tonight if the voters agree with us that Angel is the best center in the country. They announce the Kareem Abdul Jabar winner tonight on ESPN2 at 8pm.

Sad to say that Karnowski ended up winning the award. They had me completely tricked by saying the award winner is a great passer before announcing Karnowski.

Don’t know how accurate it is, but 247 sports lists Seton Hall as being back in the picture with Tremont Waters.
