Seton Hall has made top-100 guard Bryce Aiken‘s (PSA Cardinals/Patrick School, N.J.) list of six schools, which was released today.

A 6-foot Class of 2016 guard from the very local Patrick School, Bryce Aiken released his final six schools to the media today.

Along with Seton Hall, Miami (Fla.), Illinois, Harvard, USC and Michigan also made the cut. Miami, Illinois and the Hall were all labeled as schools that were recruiting Aiken the hardest back in April along with since-cut Stanford.

Seton Hall has been a long-time admirer of Bryce, who is ranked No. 83 by 247Sports.com, No. 84 by Scout, No. 87 by ESPN and No. 101 by Rivals. A teammate of Angel Delgado’s at the Patrick School, Aiken visited Seton Hall games with Angel two winters ago, visited for Midnight Madness last fall, and took in several games this past season.

Bryce averaged 11.1 ppg and 2.5 apg over 20 games for PSA Cardinals on the AAU circuit this summer.

Kevin Willard has at least one scholarship to give out to the Class of 2016 and has his eyes on a post forward as well as a lead guard.

In related news, Seton Hall has made the top-eight of 2016 guard Myles Powell, another top-100 prospect.

    Think it
would be GR8 to see Bryce hook-up w/Angel on our Pirate Ship ~ ~ ~

Zagsblog got Bryce to say a little about the 6 schools (article: http://zagsblog.com/articles/bryce-aiken-cuts-list-to-6/). Looks like a big draw for SHU is staying in state and it’s family atmosphere. It’s always interesting to see what someone says about SHU vs other schools on their top list.

It’s interesting to see him compliment the team on having a “family atmosphere” given all of the turmoil and transfers the last few years. He’s either being very complimentary because he couldn’t think of anything else positive to say or commenting on the locker room status post Gibbs and Sina. I hope there is a family atmosphere because the atmosphere has been unnecessarily dysfunctional for some time now. One of the biggest knocks against Kevin Willard (besides failing to win with regularity) has been the turnover and trouble in the locker room. Thanks for keeping this great blog going Chris!

Willard is no doubt on the “hot seat” with our fan base. Winning will take care of all the family chatter. This is Kevin’s last shot at making the Big Dance or his family will be hitting the road to a Division II or III school.
